Set in the beautiful historical village of the Sevenoaks Weald with it's village green and rolling countryside this pub is worth a visit. Dating back to 1846 it was serving ale, sadly it is now the only pub in the village but not sad are the Windmill staff and you will receive a generous smile when you enter.

. I was surprised by the excellent range of real ale. including Larkins, Rye, Harvey's, London Pride plus three others and the knowledgeable staff were eager for you to taste before purchase (very civil). There is also a choice of lagers and too many spirits to mention. I tried all of the cask beers and they were excellent & well kept.

The menu was also extensive with Sirloin Steak, Tiger Prawns, Chorizo Linguine, Lamb Kofta, Pork Belly, BBQ Ribs, Chicken Wrap, Moussaka, Risotto, Burger, Fish & Chips, Steak & Ale Pie, Ham, Egg & Chips, Fish Cake, Sausage & Mash.. Also a selection of Baguettes. plus a children's menu.

I had the Gammon Steak and my cohort the Steak Pie both resulting in clean plates.

The pub has recently been refurbished but still keeps the historical decor including some beautiful antique furniture.

It is very clean & welcoming with such a great selection of beer and food that I will be returning..
